Generators and Manifesting Generators make up about 70% of the population. We’re the life force of humanity. And since the beginning (or at least as long as there have been Generators) this powerful, regenerative life force energy has been subjected to abuse and disrespect.
We’re the builders of this world, but our energy has been taken for granted. We’ve been treated like slaves, our energy harnessed and directed for other people’s gain. And it’s time we take responsibility for correcting this situation. I speak for myself here, as a Sacral Authority Generator…
Enough already.
Because the Sacral knows when enough is enough. The other types don’t have reliable access to this knowing. It falls to us to draw the line. We need to take ownership of our responsibility to cultivate satisfaction on this plane, and not permeate the world with the frustration that comes from forcing ourselves to do things we don’t have energy for.
But we’re living in a homogenized world, where almost no one understands this. So if you’re a Generator or Manifesting Generator, it falls on you to set your own boundaries. It’s up to you to honor your Sacral energy. That begins with learning to identify what indicates a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ in response to questions or situations that arise in your environment.
Learn to trust yourself
Discerning the nuance of your Sacral response takes time and practice. We’ve been so conditioned to silence our connection with our inner knowing, we’ve often become numb to it. You’ll hear it said that the Sacral speaks through sounds, but in my experience that’s not the only way it speaks. In fact, at one point in my process I was really frustrated with trying to listen only for sounds. That’s when Reflector Dirk Nellens described it as a frequency.
I recognized the sensation immediately, and it was a complete paradigm shift. OF COURSE! IT’S A FREQUENCY! A rise or fall of energy. Expansion, or contraction. Energy for movement toward something, or a recoiling away. It can show up in soooo many ways. The sounds are real, but they aren’t the only way our inner wisdom speaks.
What I’ve found is that people who aren’t familiar with the Human Design experimental process don’t necessarily respect the Sacral response. They will still expect you to make decisions from your mind, compromise yourself to fit their agendas, and disrespect your decision-making process in myriad ways. Let them.
No explanation required
We don’t have to defend our decisions. If the Sacral has spoken, that’s the final word. If they’re your people and meant to be in your life, they will find a way to accept (and hopefully, respect) your correct process of inner wisdom. It’s not really that difficult to say ‘Sorry, I’m not getting a yes on that.’ In fact, it’s empowering. Try it!
I have explained to people that I respond best to yes or no questions. It’s astonishing how few people actually ask questions. Mostly, everyone just goes around telling and not asking. And I’ve noticed, the people close to me who don’t want to ask questions have fallen away from my life in one way or another. The ones who accuse me of being selfish for trusting my Sacral Authority? They can go, too, for all I care. The age of going along to get along is over.
